I would assume it wo...Very interesting observation. I would assume it would be alot easier for a newer christian to deal with pride issues than it would be for a staunch cal ripken type church-goer. Newer christians are more recently removed from their previous lives, and it is easier for them to remember that they are fallen human beings. An alcoholic who comes to Christ is not going to look down on alcoholics a week later. After we build up our "christian resume" a little bit we start seeing ourselves as people who do good, and easily forget that what we call righteousness is absolute slime in the eyes of our Lord.
